I love dogs and being able to help people create a stronger connection with their pet is my favourite part of the job. Puppy training can be particularly rewarding as well!
I can offer everything from house training a puppy to teaching an adult how to complete an agility course in competition. I specialise in commands and being able to instruct owners on how to handle their pup, as well as teaching them how to better understand their dog. One of the more specialist aspects I train on is separation anxiety.
I believe I offer a great range, including home visits, group sessions, and private one-to-one instructor classes. I’m also happy meeting in a suitable public place such as a dog park. Working with you and your dog, we’ll create a routine that works perfectly.
I have earned qualifications from: the Kennel Club Accredited Instructors, Level 3 CPD Accredited Dog Training, Diploma in Dog Training, and more. I’ve also attended dozens of seminars hosted by leading trainers/behaviourists. I’m a full member of the Guild of Dog Trainers and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

Emily has been a game changer. I have a Dachshund x Jack Russell and having Emily offer us her guidance and training tips with realistic and fair expectations has been invaluable to not only our puppy's learning and quality of life, but also our confidence as dog owners.

I first started seeing Emily on my vet’s recommendation. My puppy (who was about 6mo at the time) was showing signs of severe anxiety with people. I engaged Emily in both one on one and class sessions and she blew me away with how amazing, knowledgeable, and effective she is. Reggie quickly improved with her lessons and has now become a happy, healthy, much less stressed dog. Emily will ensure you’re given all the tools to be a good dog owner, including reading materials, guides, and she’s even helped with sourcing toys and training items. The most important thing, though, is that she is kind. She is a force free trainer with very strong values and morals. Your dog is in the safest of hands with her. There’s no pain, no punishment training, she doesn’t even raise her voice at dogs. Lastly, she’s affordable. Dog training isn’t cheap, but her prices are reasonable. Side note; she has a book, which I’ve read, and it’s invaluable. Absolutely recommend the book. Don’t go to anyone else.
