Personally after a back injury I lost 7 stone in 1 year, I've kept it off now for 6 years, having travelled that journey myself, I know what it's like and what you go through, it is a massive benefit to be able to coach from experience. Now I enjoy Ironman triathlons, it's a way of life, allows me to keep fit and to educate and coach others. Believe in yourself, anything is possible.

Primarily my athletes are spread all over the country, I like to conduct a 1-2-1 assessment to establish your Swim, Bike, Run styles and form assisted by the INCUS Nova device. This industry leading device gives feedback to athletes of ALL levels.
Then, each Sunday, I design your training for the following week. I review what you've done, take into consideration your availability for the coming week, and design a bespoke training plan with all aspects considered. I also have local athletes who I work with on 1-2-1 sessions each week, the frequency is down to you.
All 1-2-1 sessions are conducted with athletes safety as an overriding factor. Current temperature taken, a conversation as to experiencing any signs or symptoms of feeling unwell, and a sensible decision for all to consider proceeding. Resting Heart Rate being a primary observation to explore if the body is working overtime to fight any internal virus etc.
Basal Heart Rate should be taken on any day where a 1-2-1 session is scheduled.

Ali is an awesome swim coach! I can’t recommend him highly enough. His friendly, supportive and engaging personality have really helped keep me going. Ali tailors his sessions for each individual and gives 1:1 advice. Ali has transformed my swimming from 2:05/100m to 1:51/100m for a mile in around 6 months of fortnightly coaching.

I been working with Ali since 2019, I started working towards my running goals first which I have achieved sub 40 10k, sub 1.30 half then I changed my goals and decided to do trialthon, very scary goal for me as I wasn't a confident swimmer or cyclist so we worked hard and I achieved to complete a few trialthons and and first 70.3 last year. Ali not just a coach he also very good off understanding mental health and my condition I have endometriosis, I had many coach's who didn't really understand or got funny when my condition flared but Ali is very good and when needed adapted my training. I have grown as a althete under Ali guidance.
