I train clients across all ability levels and age groups, and with varied objectives to their training. My approach to training is rooted in developing skill in movement. I utilise a number of different training approaches including calisthenics, weight training, and mobility and flexibility coaching. I believe that consistency, adaptability, and willingness to learn, are the key attributes to achieving goals in health and physical fitness. What do you love most about your job?

I love being active and moving every day. I enjoy seeing people progress physically and the confidence that this can bring. I enjoy helping people make a committment to their long term health and well being. I love teaching clients new ways to move, and sharing the knowledge that I have gained over the years.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I was inspired to start my own business in the health and fitness space as I had amassed a lot of knowledge; to share that knowledge to enable people to lead healthier lives is a privilege. I enjoy the independence that comes from running my own business.

Covid-19 risk controls include: sanitisation of all equipment, social distancing if requested/required, mask wearing if requested/required, close monitoring to ensure no Covid-19 symptoms, lateral flow testing of trainer as required.

I trained with In The Running over a 20 week period after coming back from injury and getting into the London Marathon. George was incredible, kept me accountable and showed me the value and enjoyment on 80/20 training. In the running have been superb with my marathon prep. They have catered to my time I wanted to achieve and explained and planned everything to help me and aid me on my journey. In the running have opened my eyes to running after retiring from football and help me with my goal

Working with George at In The Running has been a fantastic experience. I came to George as an experienced runner looking to improve and find new ways to train for my upcoming marathon. I did both those things; I learned so much about how to train effectively for an endurance event and improved my previous PB significantly. George is knowledgeable, supportive, responsive to his athletes’ changing needs over a training cycle and most importantly an all round lovely bloke to work with! Receiving a heartfelt video message congratulating me after my race meant a lot and I definitely have more confidence in my ability as a runner after working with George. I’ll definitely be asking for his help again for my next race!
